Texas Hold Em Poker Tips – How to Play the Worst Hands

Sometimes you have to play the worst hands in order to win Texas Hold Em Poker. Read these tips below to understand how.

Raising big with very plain hands is sometimes a very effective method of varying your style of play to maintain the randomness and constant confusion that is imperative to playing Texas Hold Em Poker effectively. This is a favourite method of many top players and in particular good tight players.

However, sometimes this strategy can be misguided if you are a very new beginner, and a beginner to No Limit Texas Hold Em Poker, since you will more often than not either get beaten very badly, or else lose a lot of money. So whenever you feel like playing very bad hands just wait patiently to get beat by someone who is a better player then you, or for that matter a complete beginner.

Texas Hold Em Poker Tips – How You Can Win Big With The Worst Hands

When you play bad hands you can win big at the start because most of the other players will be limping in and just calling the big blind. The thing you want to do is to establish yourself as a loose player first, and then when you do you can win the majority of pots you are in.

When you play in late position you can win big if you have a good hand (depo 50 bonus 30) and when you are last you can win big if you have a bad hand (AK, AQ, AJ, KQ). The reason this is important is that you can get into a pot from late position with AJ and still have a good chance of winning the pot, whereas if you call from early position the only way you can win is to have a very good hand.

Texas Hold Em Poker Tips – The Extra Special Secret Way To Win With Jack All

Since Texas Hold Em Poker uses a 52 card deck, you can basically think of your hole cards as being divided into four suits (Spades, Hearts, Clubs, Diamonds). If you want to win using Jack all, you should only use six of the cards from your hole cards plus four cards from the flop.

This means you have a total of eight cards, or more, from the community. Four of the cards from your hole cards, plus four of the cards on the table, will determine your strategy, the five other cards will be predictively used by the other players.

Three of a kind is always a great hand to have, however, if you have a more than three of a kind you might want to fold, especially if your opponents have more than three of a kind, which would be very predictable.

If you are in late position, or on the button, you want to have all your hearts, since this is a hand that you will always have a good chance of winning. The same applies for two pairs, when you have two pairs the one with the highest pair will always win. And finally, the one with the lowest pair will always win.

In case you don’t have any of the hands mentioned above, you basically have two options: fold, or call. Don’t go in half-heartedly, or you will only lose. When you are folding, you are saying that you are not confident with your hands and you don’t feel confident with your money, this is not a very good way to win at Texas Hold Em Poker.

Call, and then only at that point, when you have called, you can withdraw the money that you have put in, which is called your stake. At this point, you will only be able to do this if the other player or players loose, or call each other. In that case you will not be able to withdraw your money, but you can certainly play more hands.

The result of having called, or folded, your hand will be that you will definitely win the game. But we want to emphasize that the hand is not a candidate for the showdown, and you should not necessarily Reveal your hand.

Play The Low Hand

If you have one of the low hands, you will only lose with the best hand, so you only want to make sure that you are holding an Ace or a King. With two cards dealt to you face down, you will have no information about the hands of the other players, but you can figure out what hand they had by the eyes that you see them eyeing.

Surely they don’t have a two! King-King is the lowest hand and the odds of the other players to have a better hand are very low. Their only chance is to pull an Ace or King, that would reduce the odds that you would pull your Ace or King and win the pot.

Play The Medium Hand

The hand you decide to play per your bankroll can of course be a medium hand (ie. 10, 9, 8, 7).
