Card counting is used in blackjack as a way to beat the house edge which is always against the player. There are two types of dealer tells, they are the strongest and the weakest. We will go into both in future articles. This article is for the strongest.
The following descriptions of dealer tells are not 100% accurate. Those that say this are not taken from personal experience. I did not use them to win money, they are merely gathered for information. Just because you will be at a casino does not mean that you will be dealt with theseLikewise, those that suggest that these strategies are foolproof, are wrong. But, that isn’t the point. They are wrong in the sense that a strategy will not work against the house, but that is not the point.

The first tell is when the dealer smiles. That smile often means something. It could be a lie. But it could also mean something. Does the dealer often smile? Is there a reason behind the smile?
In this case, it means the dealer is card counting and trying to tell the player that he has got the better hand. The smile often reveals information about the cards that the dealer has.
For example, the dealer’s smile reveal that he always hits on 16 or under. If the dealer has a 16 against a possible 17, he is likely to get away with it. However, a 17 against a potential 18 is less likely, but not impossible. The reason is that the dealer has to get a card and stay card alive and if he gets a card and stays card alive, he has a higher probability of making the straight or flush.
Card counting is a system or a strategy of playing blackjack in which the player is able to determine if the remaining cards favor him or the dealer. If the cards are going the way he wants, the player must adjust his bet or his playing in other words, the player may lose the hand. However, if the cards are not going the way he wants, the player can adjust his bet or playing in other ways to try and win the hand.
The Goldilocks story is about a pair of friends. One of the friends lies and says that he has a very good hand. The friend that does not say anything then mucks, turns up with the friend having a better hand and wins the bet. This is a good card counting strategy because if the cards are going the way he wants, the player wins with the first hand and loses with the second.

The first friend calculated the numbers and graphs it out on paper. He knows that the graph and the relationship between the cards and there chances of hitting the game and wining the hand are favorable to him, but not favorable to the friend. The second friend knows that the chances of winning have dropped and that his chances of winning have increased.
